Here, on 3CR's Solidarity Breakfast, Annie McLoughlin and I discuss the Budget delivered last week by the LNP government Treasurer, Josh Frydenburg. In particular, we assess the whinging about wages being still too low, even though it is a self-confessed design feature of LNP government policy, against the Annual Wage Review. The AWR has gone to its next step with the deadline for submissions from "interested parties" on April 1st, and 13 being lodged. We compare and discuss the various claims, including the 5% claim from the Australian Council of Trade Unions.
