About me

I am 72 years old and live in Richmond, an inner eastern suburb of Naarm, also known as Melbourne. I am now  “retired” after nearly 20 years as an Education Coordinator, Organiser and Industrial Officer with the Australian Manufacturing Workers Union in their national office in Sydney.

I have been active in the union movement since the early 70’s in several jobs, including public education and factory work, and in directly employed union roles. I have also participated in solidarity activity, and in the broad, socialist left.

In general, Solidarity Dynamics works to challenge and defeat the destructive exploitation of people and nature.

Support is provided through any one (or combination of) organizing, education, action research, and communication activities.
Support can be short lectures and workshops, short courses, longer courses as required, structured reading and discussion groups, one to one or small group mentoring, and on-line learning.

We work with you through discussion and mutual planning to develop the programme of support that meets your organisation’s needs.

We live on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the great Kulin Nation. I pay my respects to their elders past, present and emerging and affirm that they have never ceded their country to anyone.
